G&E Steel recently completed work on a huge luxury apartment complex located on Cypress Street in Brookline, MA named: “The Cypress Lofts - Phase I.”  The scope of work for this project included two sets of steel pan stairs running from the first to the fifth floor, five interior spiral staircases, one set of hot dipped galvanized exterior stairs made with bar grating treads, one large canopy frame, six steel balconies complete with railings and stainless steel railings for the interior lobby. The scope of work also included several hundred feet of three-line hot dipped galvanized ornamental balcony and stair railings made with monumental posts and decorated with steel rings.  Despite severe time constraints, multiple design changes, and significant increases in the cost of steel and zinc throughout the course of the project, the work was completed on schedule and at no additional cost to the owner.
